SELEKSI PRIORITAS KONFIGURASI PADA RETROFIT PENCAHAYAAN BUATAN DALAM BANGUNAN

Abstract


Demi kepraktisan, masih banyak gedung pendidikan tinggi di Indonesia yang belum menerapkan penghematan energi, yang nampak pada penggunaan teknologi luminer lawas. Potensi retrofit tidak sekadar mengganti luminer berteknologi lawas, namun demi kinerja visual yang terbaik pada akhirnya memengaruhi nilai investasi awal dan biaya operasional. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan potensi retrofit melalui simulasi dengan tiga skenario konfigurasi titik lampu dalam sebuah ruangan kuliah menggunakan Dialux Evo 13. Metode yang digunakan adalah membandingkan luaran ketiga simulasi menurut rumus UGR untuk melihat dampak konfigurasi pada intensitas rerata pencahayaaan, nilai UGR, dan tingkat kemerataaan distribusi pencahayaan. Hasil menunjukkan keunikan tiap konfigurasi pencahayaan dengan kelebihan dan kekurangannya akibat pengaturan jarak dan spesifikasi luminer yang sekaligus memengaruhi potensi retrofit. Sebagai kesimpulan, potensi retrofit pencahayaan dibatasi oleh waktu, yang membuka peluang antara nilai investasi dan kinerja pencahayaan dalam menentukan retrofit pencahayaan terbaik. Jika kinerja pencahayaan buatan diutamakan, maka investasi mengarah ke jangka panjang. Di sisi lain, jika nilai investasi diantisipasi, maka kinerja pencahayaan buatan akan dikompromikan.
