MERAJUT JIWA RUANG: PERAN KEBERLANJUTAN DALAM NARASI BRANDING ARSITEKTUR BANDARA CHANGI

Abstract


Penelitian ini menganalisis bagaimana Bandara Changi di Singapura merajut keberlanjutan ke dalam narasi branding arsitekturnya sehingga melahirkan "arsitektur berjiwa" dan pengalaman pengguna yang otentik. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari kesenjangan literatur yang cenderung memisahkan kajian keberlanjutan dan branding, tanpa menjelaskan interaksi dinamis antara arsitektur, desain komunikasi visual (DKV), dan nilai keberlanjutan dalam membentuk identitas ruang. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif berbasis studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi visual digital, analisis dokumentasi desain, serta analisis naratif ruang berbasis konten digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keberhasilan Changi terletak pada tiga strategi utama: (1) integrasi desain biofilik yang menjadikan alam sebagai narator utama brand; (2) penerapan arsitektur transparan sebagai simbol kejujuran dan efisiensi brand; serta (3) penciptaan pengalaman pengguna yang mulus (seamless) melalui sistem wayfinding dan fasilitas non-aeronautical. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa keberlanjutan bukan sekadar aspek teknis, melainkan benang inti dalam merajut identitas ruang yang berjiwa. Temuan ini memperkuat konsep "arsitektur berjiwa" serta menawarkan panduan praktis bagi pengembangan ruang publik berkelanjutan di masa depan.
