Pengembangan Eco-Design Produk Baru: Suatu Studi Eksperimen
Abstract
Penelitian ini menguji pengaruh pemilihan bahan, informasi biaya, dan pengalaman desainer terhadap pengembangan produk baru berbasis eco-design dengan menggunakan studi eksperimental yang melibatkan 141 mahasiswa akuntansi sebagai partisipan yang diberi tugas mengembangkan prototype mainan rumah boneka menggunakan blok LEGO. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemilihan bahan dan pengalaman desainer berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keberhasilan produk eco-design, sementara informasi biaya tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan. Perusahaan perlu memberi perhatian yang serius terhadap pengembangan kemampuan desainer dan seleksi material yang berkelanjutan sebagai elemen kunci dalam strategi desain. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan wawasan bagi perusahaan untuk lebih fokus pada pelatihan desainer dan pemilihan bahan yang ramah lingkungan guna meningkatkan daya saing produk di pasar.
